Installation of structural elements in highway construction using a custom-made lifting beam.
Heavy components precisely assembled; lifting solution developed in-house.
We developed and manufactured a custom lifting beam for installing heavy components in highway construction. In combination with our Bakran PLC 90, the large-format components could be lifted in a controlled manner and positioned with precision.
The Starting Point
As part of a highway project, large-format elements weighing about 4.2 metric tons each had to be installed.
Measuring four meters long, two meters high, and 20 centimeters thick, the components posed special challenges for the lifting equipment.
The installation required a suitable lifting solution that would allow the heavy components to be safely lifted and precisely positioned in their intended locations.
Our Solution
For this challenging component assembly, we designed and manufactured a custom lifting crossbeam tailored to the dimensions and requirements of the components.
During the installation work, we used our Bakran PLC 90 in combination with a custom-built crossbeam. This allowed us to lift the large-format elements in a controlled manner and position them precisely.
By combining our in-house mechanical engineering capabilities with practical experience in crane technology, we were able to provide the right lifting solution and successfully complete the installation work.
