For a customer in Lucerne on Lake Lucerne, we manufactured two custom X-beams with load capacities of 8 and 25 metric tons. We also produced matching transport carts for handling the lifting devices. The project included a CE Declaration of Conformity and operating instructions.
The Starting Point
Two specially designed load beams with different load capacities were needed for lifting and handling boats on Lake Lucerne.
In addition to reliable load-bearing capacity, a suitable solution for transporting the crossbeams was required. The lifting devices were to be manufactured according to specified technical drawings and provided with the appropriate documentation for their intended use.
What was needed was a robust, well-coordinated combination of lifting and transport equipment.
Our Solution
In our mechanical engineering department, we manufactured two X-beams with load capacities of 8 and 25 metric tons in accordance with the specified design drawings.
In addition, we manufactured two compatible transport carts with maximum load capacities of 1.2 and 3 metric tons, respectively. This ensures that handling equipment tailored to both crossbeams is available.
The scope of delivery also included the CE declarations of conformity and operating instructions. This resulted in custom lifting and transport solutions for use on Lake Lucerne.
